SCHOLARSHIP STUDENTS JANUARY TO JULY 2026

Adrián Estrella Torres

Picture
Hello, my name is Adrián Estrella Torres. I am a Mechatronics Engineering student. I am about to graduate, and I am planning to do my residency at the Research Center to obtain my degree. I would like to thank you for all the support you have given me throughout these years. Thanks to you, I have been able to continue with my studies. I have been able to cover expenses like transportation, internet, and things that are truly complicated when you are a student and don’t have a regular income. Even though we can work for a while during vacations, it's not that easy. I would like to thank you for that, and also for all your kindness and affection that you have shown us, as well, for trusting in us. I know that in the future we will be able to show that it was all worthwhile—that we can strive hard and reach our goals to benefit our entire community. Our success helps others. Thank you very much, and I send you a big hug.

José Salvador

To my dear Amigos Anonymous Friends and my dear teacher Rosalía, I send my cordial greeting and thanks. I am sincerely grateful for the support that you gave me for my university studies. Thanks for your concern and trust that enabled me to achieve a very important goal in my life. I am now working as a management assistant in a company that does medical analyses and studies, both for the public and for other companies. This job has allowed me to continue learning and professional development.  There were times when lack of transportation made it hard to take advantage of opportunities more in line with my Industrial Engineering degree. Despite this, I continue looking and I will keep you informed.  I am deeply grateful for the support you gave me which helped with training and the opportunities I have today. I always carry with me the example of solidarity and trust that you provided. I strive every day to live up to your example.

With gratitude, José Salvador López Olivares.

Janeth Fabiola Domínguez García

I send warm greetings and I hope that you are well. I am so happy to share with you what my professional life has been like after graduation and to tell you how the support you gave me made a significant difference in my life's path. After graduating with a degree in nursing and obstetrics, I entered occupational nursing, and I now provide medical care to employees of an autombile company. I assess workers' health conditions, review their vital signs and provide timely care to manage their medical needs during the workday. If necessary, I refer patients to the doctor for more specialized care. My work has allowed me to see first-hand how preventive and timely care can improve the well-being of working people. I want to help people to have better working conditions, and I want to help them care for their physical and emotional health.

I am deeply grateful to all who made my university education possible. Thanks to this, today I can give back to my community through my profession, and help promote health and well being in my workplace.

Kind regards
Janeth Fabiola Dominguez Garcia,
Graduate of the Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and Obstetrics

Congratulations to Two New Nurses!

Mexico is blessed with two new nurses who are serving the community.  Both Andrea Guadalupe Martinez Ramirez and Janeth Fabiola Dominguez Garcia finished all of their studies and received their degrees in nursing and obstetrics.  Both of the young women graduated from the University of Guanajuato.

Andrea Guadalupe has been in the Father Joe’s Scholarship program since 2018.
