VISIT TO APASEO - JULY 2018 and HOW YOU CAN HELP by Mike Miller
This past summer, three couples - Jack and Donna Walton, Mike and Lupe Miller, and Rick and Natalie Champion - traveled to Apaseo el Grande to meet with Rosalia Cabrera, director of the Program, and with thirteen of the fourteen Scholarship students. We all gathered around a large table and each student took a turn speaking about their current challenges and successes, their hobbies, family life, and plans for the future. Each student, in their own way, clearly expressed a high level of commitment to succeed in their studies and a desire to develop their potential. It was also clear that under the guidance of Rosalia, these amazing students are progressing toward their goals of obtaining the best education available. They are truly an inspiration to those of us privileged to spend time with them on these annual visits.
We want to thank all of the donors to the Scholarship Program very much for your past and, hopefully, continuing support.
